Happy June everyone!

Did you ever think this day would come?! I suuure didn't! In fact, I distinctly remember one cold, winter day not too long ago... little Lara sitting in her bed, bundled up like an eskimo, thinking that surely the frigid snow would never end and it would be like a Groundhog's Day of winter hell forever and ever.

But clearly I'm silly and alas, summer is here! Happy June! Happy sun! Happy beautiful people wearing minimal clothing! Yay!

I am aptly celebrating June with my favorite kind of June...MISS JUNE ALLARD aka the most hilarious, beautiful, wiggly golden retriever in the Midwest. Happy June, Junebug! I miss you (and your Mommy)!!

Meet Ollie. Full name: Oliver Naismith Alpert. Age: 3 months.

This lovable ball of fluff belongs to old friends, Ashley (Hirschorn) and Jeremy Alpert and was aptly named after a couple of fiiine KU dorms. I want to smoosh and play with him and love him but alas, he lives in Kansas City.

Dear Mom,

I know you get mad that I don't feature Sophie more as my Glitt'o Pup and that Sebastian gets the honor much more than she does. But you don't email me videos like Jackie does. Mom, you have an iPhone now so...it's time to get crackin! I expect at least one video and/or picture a day from now on so that me and the rest of the GMT community can bask in the glory that is my furry-haired sibling. No, I'm not talking about Ben...

Glitt'o Pup of the Day

The Daily Puppy today's name is Sophie!! And she's a Golden Retriever!! I want to smoosh that little puppy face and rub those little ears and scratch that baby cutie tummy. However, for those of you living under a rock and don't know, Sophie is my beautiful golden retriever's name as well and my furry baby is sooo much cuter. And her ears...they just don't make them that soft.

I miss her so much and I don't know the next time I'm going to see her. In the meantime, pictures of the OTHER Sophie will just have to do :)

My mom is going to kill me. I never feature Sophie as Glitt'o pup and she's starting to get really offended (she, meaning both Mom and dog). I'm sorry, Mom. Sophie will have her moment in the spotlight soon. In the meantime, ummmmm can you please look at Emma? No, I don't know her. She was featured on Daily Puppy and I had to share.
